Many students and Disney fans are familiar with Disney’s Hercules, but very few people know the actual myth the movie is based on.

Visiting professor Vince Tomasso discusses the “Disneyfication” of the mythical character Hercules, and how this ancient myth has been appropriated by modern society to be suitable for an American generation.
