The Digital Distillery is the virtual and physical computing lab located in POT 1345 and operated by the department of Writing, Rhetoric, and Digital Studies. The Digital Distillery supports faculty and undergraduate research projects that engage with digital theory, digital  production, digital archiving, virtual reality, gaming, podcasting and other related projects. 

The Digital Distillery's mission is to support and promote digital scholarship.Distillation involves the concentration and extraction of value from a base. The Digital Distillery is designed to be a space where faculty and students can productively collaborate and distill their ideas into projects.

Undergraduate students interested in doing digital projects should apply for a WRD Undergraduate Research Award - https://wrd.as.uky.edu/wrd-undergraduate-research-awards - in order to secure funding for their work.
