UK Professors Lighting the Way

Solar energy has been around for a while now, but John Anthony, Michel Jabbour and Chi-Sing Man are part of a team that was recently awarded a National Science Foundation grant to develop new ways to catch and convert light to electricity. Anthony, a professor in the Department of Chemistry, describes the project, and his collaboration with mathematicians Jabbour and Man.

Diverse Interests: Kim Clark

Kim Clark works for the UK Mathematics Department as accounting staff, but her involvement on campus doesn’t stop there! In addition to helping organize the A&S Diversity Committee, she is also an active member of the UK Women’s Forum.

Shannon Hincker

When Shannon Hincker started her undergraduate work at the University of Kentucky in 2004, she was a mathematics major.
After two years, she switched to the College of Arts & Sciences’ mathematical economics program.
