Keeneland Students Study for the Cure

Achmad Hidayatullah, Connor Appelman and Devon Wilson, three students from A&S Wired, are organizing an event to take place during Dead Week. All Keeneland Hall residents are encouraged to study between 3pm and midnight on December 4th and 8th, 2011, for "Study for the Cure," a study-a-thon fundraiser that will benefit the Kentucky Children's Hospital.

Chemistry for Everyone: Pauline Stratman

Pauline Stratman is vice president of the Chemistry department's Graduate Student Association. One of the tasks associated with her position, and a personal passion for her, is doing outreach to the Lexington community. A special time for the Chemistry department to educate the community is during National Chemistry Week. This year it ran from October 16-22, and wrapped up at UK with their annual Chemistry Demonstration show, which is free and open to the public.

Diverse Interests: Kim Clark

Kim Clark works for the UK Mathematics Department as accounting staff, but her involvement on campus doesn’t stop there! In addition to helping organize the A&S Diversity Committee, she is also an active member of the UK Women’s Forum.
