Jennifer Hatcher, associate professor in the College of Nursing, received a two-year $359,528 award from the National Cancer Institute for her project, “Promoting Colorectal Cancer Screening in Rural Emergency Departments.”

Twenty-four undergraduate researchers from UK, along with more than 200 other student representatives from across the state, are taking over the state capitol in Frankfort today to showcase their research.

The Department of Psychology will join others as part of the UK Clinical Research Education Day on Friday, October 25th.
